Excellent service . Food delicious. Was a little bit too busy in the hot tub .. people stayed for long periods of time.! I moved a higher seated chair down of plinth as all sunbeds/ loungers were too high for me to sit on. I feel there needs to be more higher seating to balance things out. Steam room salt room brilliant. I had a facial perfect .. Four stars as my friend was due to have luxury pedicure with gel polish but did only fit standard.! Also bar staff could be a little friendlier . Overall a wonderful time .

Lovely spa hotel with wonderful facilities. We are staying 3 nights and had a huge room ( number 8) staff very friendly and the vibe is so relaxed. I had a back massage from Sarah W today and it was incredible. The spa has a steam sauna and a salt room which was a first for me and definitely helped, my asthma. With the golden beaches of Frinton nearby and the wonderful bar Harry’s Bar less than a mile down the road, I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice chilled and relaxing break.

Expected a little more "luxury" from this adult only hotel & Spa. Whilst the staff were great; friendly and attentive, the decor was a bit basic. Nice bar but restaurant could do with an uplift and a bit more "vibe". The pool and spa facilities were again, basic and could do with a regular clean. My towel robe had trailed on floor and it was filthy brown when I picked it up. The salt room wasn't working which was a real shame. Whilst we had a nice time, it just wasn't as luxurious as expected. However the deal online which included a 3 course meal (tasty), 25 min treatment and breakfast can't be faulted. In sum a little uplift in the decor for more of a vibe in both restaurant and spa would be the finishing touch!

I stayed at the Lifehouse for my birthday last March with my sister. Had a wonderful experience. Our room had gorgeous views, the staff were professional and friendly. Our treatments were amazing. We really loved the breakfast and for my birthday the restaurant prepared a special sweet treat. The grounds are so peaceful to walk around. I have recommended to my family to stay and can’t wait to return when it reopens.

Shame the pool area was just OK, for the price I would have expected a little bit more class. The outside area to the pool was like sunbathing in a large box. Manicures and pedicures were supposedly fully booked, but all the chairs fir these treatments were constantly empty. Manager of the restaurant left much to be desired, far too full of his own self importance. However our room for the night was very nice.
